Disney Contest: Chaos

This is my entry for 's 33rd contest! 
The theme of the contest is to create a poster for a book if Disney decided to make it a movie!! Amazing theme in my opinion.

About my piece: 
    The book I chose is a greek fantasy book entitled "Κοράκι σε άλικο φόντο" (try reading it like this: Corakee seh aleekoh fonto), which means "Crow in scarlet background". Does it make sense? To me, it sounds a bit weird in english. The title is quite large so I decided to give the upcoming movie a shorter one. "Chaos" is the new title as you can see! The font is based on Byzantine letters. 


    Here's the story in a nutshell:
        A great empire and the world as we know it faces its downfall. Three men (one of them is the guy in the poster) have to fulfill their destiny in order to avert the disaster and to do that they need to complete their fated tasks at the same time. These men don't know each other, yet one's actions affect the actions of the other two.
    In others words, they are in charge by Fate to bare the situation on their shoulders and invert the CHAOS that has been spread in the empire. 

    The guy above is called Philaretos (In greek, his name means "friend of virtue"). He was raised by a shepherd, who lived near a monastery. When he had time, Philaretos went to the monastery and was studying by himself. He taught himself to read and write, learned morality and the path of the "Creator". So you can say, that he was truly a friend of virtuousness. But his name is rather a tragic element, as Philaretos was born by a human and a monster. So he is half human half beast, and as time passes, he starts to realize his darker side. His beastly self may take control of him and Philaretos tries by all means to avoid that... Poor guy.
